the drive is still reporting c7 ultra dma crc error count (warning) in hdtune for smart errors. then suddenly 11pm at night every few mins a port reset.Īt this point i've swapped the cable, however. had an error just as i did (port reset, 129) again. I'm assuming it was RST, as i installed that latest driver. i have it set to legacy/uefi boot in the options and also set to "other os" under type of OS (at one point i had a mix of win 7 dual boot with 8, no longer though).
I couldnt find a setting in the bios to specify RST or RSTe.
