Everyone involved, from the writer to the director to the actors to the special effects guys did a great job. This movie was fun to watch and seemed to be exactly what it was setting out to be. True, it wasn't Shaun of the Dead, but that movie was perfect and genius. I cared about the characters, I laughed, I was surprised by certain events in the plot - the movie was good. Some of the gore was just over the top enough to add to the humor and some of the drama was just serious enough to make some of the scenes touching. The film never took itself to seriously, but at the same time never wandered off into the ridiculous. The acting, the humor, the gore, the action - it was all balanced very well. I was actually pleasantly surprised by the quality of the movie. I saw the preview a few weeks ago and when I watched the movie, it was just the kind of thing I thought it was going to be. I'm actually really surprised to see negative comments about the film. This was a fun film and I enjoyed watching it.
